How do I know which type of massage therapy to choose? If it is your first time receiving a professional massage, we recommend you start with a Swedish Massage, which is meant to relax the body and mind. What should I wear during my treatment? Most massage sessions are enjoyed without clothing, however, please wear whatever makes you comfortable. During the massage, your body will be fully draped, except for the area being worked on. This is your time, and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. Whether it's the room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of the music, please express any discomforts or preferences. Also, for your relaxation and the concentration of your therapist, please remember to turn off your cell phone during your massage. What if I have special health considerations? Please note when booking your appointment if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any other physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant (Massage treatments should not be experienced in the first trimester). If you have any concerns at all, please let us know. If at any time during your massage session you experience discomfort, please alert your therapist immediately. What if I am late for my appointment? Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your session will end on time so that the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. What is the cancellation policy? We request that all clients extend a courteous 24-hour cancellation notice to change or cancel any appointment. If less than 24-hours notice is given, then half of the charge will apply. A credit card number is required at the time you book your appointment. What about payment for the massage? Cash and check are preferred, but we also accept Visa and Mastercard. If you enjoyed your experience, gratuities are always appreciated, but never obligated. You may purchase Gift Cards for a specific dollar amount or for a particular service.
